February 12, 2009Secret ValentineI had no school today, we had major winds overnight that knocked down a lot of power lines, my school being one of them. We had testing today too which kinda sucks but we'll probably have to take them tomorrow. I got to catch up on some much needed sleep so I feel a lot better than I did last night. I got my new camera yesterday. It's a nikon D40 with an 18-55mm lens. ![]() I'm having so much fun with it and I have a new photo project I'm doing. It should be done in a week or two and I'll post it when I'm done. I can't wait to get to work and do some photoshoots and start a portfolio. I'm off to get ready for bed. Happy Valentine's Day to whomever has a special someone on this upcoming day.

January 22, 2009Regular or Decaf?
I'm so exhausted. I'm up at 5am and I'm not in bed until midnight. School, Work, Homework, repeat. It's so tiring. I love my new job, my co-workers are great and I'm having a great time but I have a feeling that this is going to catch up with me soon. I've had finals at school the past few days and I'm off Monday and Tuesday, I can't wait to sleep in. To the best of my knowledge, I'm not working Tuesday-Thursday next week, so maybe I can catch up on some much needed sleep. I got my driving permit today and I can't wait to start learning. I'm definitely going to try and get my license ASAP (July 22 is when I'm hoping to schedule my driving test.)
I need someone to buy me a whole bunch of those Five Hour Energy shot things, coffee isn't doing it for me anymore. Does anyone know how they decaffeinate coffee? It's been bothering me lately.

January 13, 2009If they can do it, why can't we?
I saw this on peta2's myspace and I found it absolutely amazing.
Watch CBS Videos Online That is positively incredible. and at the end when the reporter said "if they can do it, why can't we?" I just thought about that is how everyone should treat animals. In a way of thinking, as humans, we are the elephants and the animals are the dogs. They put our complete trust in us and most people won't even give it a second thought.

January 9, 2009Two New Music Videos in Review (Bring Me The Horizon's "Chelsea Smile" & Mayday Parade's "Miserable at Best")
Artist: Bring Me The Horizon
www.myspace.com/bmth Song:Chelsea Smile Album: Suicide Season [Visible Noise (UK) Epitaph (US) Shock (AUS)] Director: Adam Powell Producer: Craig Touhy Music Video: "Chelsea Smile" - Bring Me The Horizon Making The Video: Part One, Part Two. Bring Me The Horizon's second video release, Chelsea Smile, off their sophomore album, Suicide Season, was by far their best music video. This video, however, was like many other band's music videos. Chelsea Smile was a big party that destroyed this inside of the house that it was in; but their version would be perfection to many. The video contained a whole lot of alcohol, strobe lights, people in their underwear, sexual advances and a lot of dangerous activity (but hey, that's why parties are fun, isn't it?) My least favourite part of this video would have to be the very beginning when the girl draws and imitaion of the Glasgow/Chelsea Smile with lipstick, not only do I find it incredibly tacky, but I believe it doesn't really fit with the mood even though one of the most known lyrics from the song would be "I may look happy but honestly dear, the only way I'll really smile is if you cut me ear to ear." Bring Me The Horizon had a few of their friends as guests in part of this video. The members of the band Cancer Bats stopped by to play poker and drink beer in the kitchen. The promising of many girls in thier underwear was a major let down when there was onlt about 10 seconds worth of clips from the "Underwear Pillow Fight in the Bedroom." The main thing I do not understand about this video when when the half-naked guy poured soda/beer all over himself in the video. That clip seemed rather pointless, but nonetheless amusing. Overall, this video was well done by both the band and the videos Director, Producer and Set Designer. Originality: 2/5 stars Quality: 4/5 stars Overall: 3/5 stars Band: Mayday Parade www.myspace.com/maydayparade Song: Miserable at Best Album: A Lesson In Romantics (Fearless Records) Director: Mark (Starbark?) Music Video: "Miserable at Best" - Mayday Parade Making The Video: Link. "Miserable at Best" is the third video release (excluding the band-only live "Black Cat" video) of Mayday Parade's hit album "A Lesson in Romantics." This heart-wrenching video is perfect for the song. The video takes place in a wooded area while it's snowing and throughout the ballad, the video displays three different types of break-ups; the "happy/understanding" break-ups, the really sad break-ups where you do not want to break-up, and then the angry break-up. The entire video pulls together by the use of snow and the place where the band performs. The belief that all three of these couples have been at this place together at one point or another and the fact that it is snowing when they break-up really connects the relationships to the band and the song itself. The only thing that I disliked about the video is how only the drummer and the vocalist were really involved and the rest of the band kind of just stood around looking nostalgic because they had no use since the song was a ballad on piano only. In conclusion, Mayday Parade's video for "Miserable at Best" seems to be one of the best music video releases that I have seen in a long time and I hope that every video they make from now on. Originality 4/5 stars Quality: 5/5 stars Overall: 4/5 stars

August 29, 2008I've Woken Up To A Reality Called First Period Excel and Access
It's officially the second day of school and it's already lost it's
aesthetic. I'm exhausted from the few hours of sleep I've been getting and the stress is already appalling. It's ridiculous how quickly you can change from being a happy-go-lucky and laid-back teenager to a rundown, worn-out student. It's only been a day and a half and I want it to be summer again. It has been raining straight for two days and I want to see sunshine.

August 19, 2008The Nights And Days Fly By When I'm Lost On The Streets
So school starts up again next week. It's ind of a bittersweet time right now. I'm trying to go out of summer with a big BANG and I think I'm pulling it off pretty well. I've spent the last few days hanging out with large groups of friends at the park or at my house. I spent a few nights laying under the stars with my best friend Robby and just talking. It finally felt like summer. I wish that I had another month of this because I'm finally getting the summer feeling. You know what I'm talking about? How you can't be sad because everyone is there to give you a hug. I'm gonna have to get my hair trimmed before school starts and I'm thinking about getting something different. I don't know if I'm gonna go with something shorter or grow it out long. If you have any ideas, tell me. I can't wait to dye it this November, I'm supposed to any way.
I also think I'm getting my permit soon, I have to get a physical first though, which will be taken care of on monday. I'm excited because I feel like I'm actually growing up. I'm really scared to get out of high school, though. I'm a Junior, an upperclassman, it's really weird when I think about it. I'm scared about learning to drive and going to college. It's all just going by so fats. It feels like yesterday when I walked into high school as a Freshman. I'm the only one going into school single this year, but I'm happy for all my friends who are happy. If they are happy, then I'm happy. I turn Sixteen this November. I'm still trying to decide whether to have a big bash or a small intimate thing. I also want to join a band this year, I'm thinking as a vocalist, I'm not good enough at guitar or piano to play them in a band. ahaha. If you hear about a band in the Pittsburgh area looking for a vocalist, be sure to let me know. Also, the new The Academy Is... album hit stores today, be suer you pick it up. It is fucking epic.

July 7, 2008Come One, Come All
My room is cleaning up rather nicely
I've got about 3/4 of the picture thatw ere hanging up taken down And I'm so excited to redecorate. I came across something in a target catalouge that I absolutely loved. It was for college dorms so I guess it's perfect for a teens room. haha ![]() I think it's great, I want to replace my bed with it because it folds out to be about the same size a full sized bed andI always found them comfortable. Whenever I get up in the morning, I'll just put my blanket and pillows in my closet. andI can fold it back up. I was going through a lot of ideas for the furniture, but I really like that so I'll work around that with basic black furniture and then some accent colour.

July 2, 2008Wish List

July 1, 2008The Carpal Tunnel of Love
Spent the day with my best friend Robby today. We walked around the neighborhood and acted like retards at the park. Later we had milkshakes and watched Titanic. Needless to say, we both cried. It's such a classic and I will always love it. I feel like a little kid again and I can say that I'm happy.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yesterday, Robby and I walked around my house talking about how we were going to renovate it when I eventually inheirit it. We managed to spend 2 hours going from my basement to my attic talking about every little detail we were going to do. It was really sad actually, but it was quite fun. I think I'm going to redecorate my room. Right now, I'm taking down all the pictures in my room, which is going to take me a week, I guarentee it. Then I'm going to frame all of my posters and some of my favourite pictures. I'm going to tear down this fake wall thing that I have and convert this old room into a walk in closet. I have the colours already planned out. I think the wall without a window or a door will be a simplified version of this: ![]() But I think the thin stripe will be solid black and the underneath will be white. Hopefully, however the colours will not be as obnoxious so I will not want to kill myself. The other three walls will be solid colours, I'm thinking green, yellow and pink. The wood work and the furniture will be black and white. The new live My Chemical Romance CD/DVD hit stores today. I've been listening to it non-stop on their myspace since they've put it up. I absolutely love it. Pick it up if you can, it's amazing. I can't wait to get it, myself and watch the actual footage. Do you know how much I hate it when people wear flip-flops with skinny jeans? Well, I hate it a lot, but I've been doing it a lot lately. It's summer right now so I don't really care. Life is so much easier now that I can stay up as late as I want and wake up well after the sun comes up. I feel a lot healthier with my new diet and taking my vitamins every day, I think I'm going to look great by the time school's back is session. Let's hope this summer I'll have a fling or two to talk about when I hit books again. I'm going to Los Angeles at the end of the month, I can't wait. I'm sure going to miss Bri, Robby and my dad, though. Summer has been going pretty fast so far, but I've been living it up, I think.

June 29, 2008The Switch Kids![]() Yesterday, I dragged my best friend Bri to a show of a few local bands at Mr. Small's. Blame the Resistance, Cali AC, the Spacepimps and the Switch Kids. At 10 bucks a ticket from my buddies over in Blame the Resistance we got there an hour and a half early and we were the first ones there, so we just hung out a bit. We talked to Mark and JJ of BTR every so often too. ![]() ![]() After being bored for an hour and a half, we went and got in the live to enter. We were behind 9 people because we waited on the steps of the gutted out church and because Bri was being a lazy bum and didn't want to get up. She wore boxers to the show without pants, depite my objections. ![]() Inside, we didn't have to wait too long for my friends in Blame the Resistance to come on, playing my favourite by them "No Way Out." Iut was my first time seing them live, but they were amazing. I got a bunch of goos shots of them onstage. It was by far the easiest band for me to get pictures of, ever. I'd suggest looking them up on myspace @ myspace.com/blametheresistance they sound kind oflike old Simple Plan but with a heavier rock sound. they give good hugs too. ![]() Next up was Cali AC, I'd never heard them before but one of my friend's had been raving about them so I figured they had to be good. They have a different sound, they sound like a mix between Chiodos' first CD and Pierce the Veil, what an amazing combo. They had a great stage presence and they are total sweethearts and the singer has amazing hair. ![]() After Cali AC was the Spacepimps. They have this Blink-182 reinvented feel to them. They made me want to dance the night away and they can do a great cover of the Spice Girls. ![]() Last but not least was the Switch Kids, after all it was their CD release show. They had been a band for 10 years and they are amazing. They're like rock infused with showtune and circus performances. I wish I had gotten some pictures of them, but alas I didn't. The singer kind of reminded me of Perez Hilton which I thought was kind of nifty but he has a heart of gold. After the show, I spent the rest of the night talking to my friend Nicole about random things for around 4 hours. Things kind of like this: Bori1115 (12:29:13 AM): I would love to be in the shower with alex Bori1115 (12:29:16 AM): hahahah nicole (12:29:21 AM): omg, me too! nicole (12:29:28 AM): or jack =) nicole (12:29:34 AM): he's yummy tooo! Bori1115 (12:29:54 AM): oh yeah Bori1115 (12:29:59 AM): I heard he likes asians Bori1115 (12:30:01 AM): lmao nicole (12:30:07 AM): damn. nicole (12:30:14 AM): i'll tape my eyes nicole (12:30:15 AM): BABAM@ Bori1115 (2:43:25 AM): of course Iwill have your babies Bori1115 (2:43:30 AM): duh nicole (2:43:37 AM): HAHA! nicole (2:43:39 AM): YESSS!

June 26, 2008Glow Stick
I hung out with my best guy friend Robby today and we decided to break open a glow stick. It was bright blue and I'm pretty sure it would have lasted a lot longer if I didn't break it cause it was a military one. I poured the crap on my roof and it like ran off because of the rain. I got a little on my arm and it kind of burns. haha. It was pretty bad-ass to see neon blue un down my roof.
![]() I did Robby's make-up, but he took it off before I got a picture with him. It was red with thick black. It looks pretty classic for a hardcore kid. haha. My friends and I are always doing stupid shit. ![]() It was a pretty rad day.
